Little Beaver Lake and Miner's Beach: SkyWatch Friday

Both of the photos below were taken on a trip to the UP of Michigan. The first was taken at Little Beaver Lake right near our campsite. The second shot is from the southeast corner of Miner's Beach.

Both different, each on its own very beautiful scenery. I like lakes very much, my choice goes to Little Beaver Lake.

Hi you delightful Nutty Birders!
That first shot is to die for with its gentle harmonies and wonderfull stillness and evocation of solitude. i love the way the soft pink of the sky turns into muted sepia in the reflections.

What a contrast to the wonderfully dynamic shore shot.

Ornage skies look beautiful..however such a scene very rarely occurs when the sky gets orange..It mostly happens in winters and rains at the sunset time..
I have seen this for only twice in my life..Amazing pic
