Birds and Butterflies

I have been quite busy over the past few weeks and have neglected to put up anything on the blog. Migration has really picked up over the last week and Eagle Creek has been amazing. Last Friday started it off with many warblers and Saturday was one of the best warbler days I have ever had at Eagle Creek. I had a total of 20 species on both Saturday and Sunday including a Connecticut and multiple Black-throated Blues. Non warbler highlights have been Scarlet Tanager, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Yellow-bellied Flycatcher, and Philadelphia Vireo

Below are a few of the pictures I've taken over the last few weeks:

Tastes Great While Bird Watching

A friend of mine took a pic while at a Cubs game. Take a look at the advertisement.

Not sure this convinced my friend that there are bird watchers . . . it was at a Cubs/CARDINALS game.
