Answer to Bird Quiz #163: Pacific Golden-Plover

Well, I gave everyone a quiz this week that was pretty much unidentifiable from the photo. We had a lot of answers and everyone was right on track in saying that it was some species of golden-plover. Since this quiz was a little unfair, we have decided that everyone that answered with one of the golden-plover species got this quiz correct!

Last Week's Quiz:

How to Identify:

Everyone that submitted an answer was able to determine that it was a photo of one of the golden-plover species but from there, there is very little you can learn from the photo. At the most, you could use the dark auriculars to help you guess that this is a Pacific Golden-Plover but that is not fool proof. Since this week's quiz bordered on impossible, we have decided that everyone that answered with one of the golden-plover species was correct!
